Locally owned! Amazing food! I got the lunch taco special with chicken tinga ground beef and beef barbecue! They all were amazing! Great food & great service! My new local favorite taco place!

Stopped here on a humble Saturday after dropping my dry cleaning... AND WoW I can't wait ro pick up my clothes to go back. The young lady the register recommended the special which was a blend of lamb and beef taco... my God it was delicious. The special offered two but I only ordered one just in case. I was so disappointed with myself because it was all I could think about the rest of the weekend.... the chicken taco was just as delicious. It was clean. The team was pleasant and inviting. I have already forwarded their name and location to my friends and neighbors in the area because I had just told a friend it has been so long since I've enjoyed a meal out though I ordered to go. The food lately has not hit the mark but this did and was delicious. Well done. Thank you.

I got the Birria Clasico Tacos 🌮 and it was phenomenally delicious, fresh. Got served chips and salsa sauce before my meal and got 4 spicy dressing options, tried them all and my fav is roasted jalapeño. Staff was kind and attentive. Most clean fast casual diner I’ve ever visited, I even got a pic of the bathroom which I ever did twice in my lifetime of reviews. Highly highly recommended for everyone and especially those Halal foodies!

The burrito bowls, meats, and sauces are all fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. Our whole family loves this place, and we often order takeout from here. The restaurant is always clean, nicely decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the quality has been consistently great every time we visit. I've been across Oklahoma. KC. Texas. Where they know how to make REAL Mexican food. And this. Measures. Up. In the area I live, my favorite Mexican restaurant closed down, and if we got a Zocalo's instead, I'd never wish to have it back again. Meat in every bite. Hot food. Out within 5 minutes. $12 for a burrito bowl with steak, and it was so good I tore through much of it before thinking to take a photo. You'll never eat Chipotle again. 10/10 JUST GO HERE!!!

Authentic, delicious, and will definitely be back next time I'm in the Chantilly area. Ordered 3 tacos and since it was my first time visiting, I decided to try the Grilled chicken, Beef Barbacoa, and Steak. Skip the flour tortillas and went with corn to keep it authentic. My favorite was definitely the Barbacoa! While there are quite a bit of Mexican / taco spots in the area, my co-workers and I agree - Taco Zocalo was delicious!

This franchise has been serving authentic Mexican food at the highest level for years. Every time I visit, they never cut corners—quality is always the standard. They’re constantly bringing out new ideas, and you can feel that they’re more than just a restaurant—they’re a truly lovable family-run chain. The staff is always great, and the owner, Basir, is one of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll meet. He worked incredibly hard to come this far, but please don’t let it only be this far. I came here specifically for the Birria tacos and they absolutely blew my mind! The tacos were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the meat inside was incredibly tender and juicy. But the real star of the show was the consomé (dipping broth)—it was rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Dipping the crispy taco into that hot broth was just an amazing experience. Highly recommend this spot

Ordered the Birria Tacos today, was to 'die-for'. Tres Leches cake aswell, was delicious the attention to detail, craftsmanship + just over all quality and ambience, makes Taco Zocalo our areas, best hidden treasure.

Great new restaurant! The service was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. Music was playing and the vibes were on poiny. Chicken tinga salad was very tasty. The tacos looked amazing. I got a cheese quesadilla which was also delicious and the tortillas were fresh and perfect! Highly recommend checking this place out!!

The tacos we had were mediocre I felt, the portion size of the fish was really small. We may try different kinds next time to see if our review on this spot could be improved.

The tacos were good, but I was disappointed on the rice & salsa. They add cumin to their salsa and it was so overpowering. Same thing with the rice, it’s just a seasoning that you can’t add too much of because it is strong. If I ever go back here, I’ll stick to just tacos and not order any sides. The burrito was huge and my husband enjoyed it, wish we would have known they had a lot of hot sauces to use but we didn’t see them until we had finished our food. That would have been helpful to be offered that when we got our food sent to the table.

Love this place. Everything is halal so we can eat Mexican food happily. The birria tacos, chicken bowl, tres leches and churros are yum. The interior is so bright and clean it makes anyone brighten up their mood. We keep coming back as a family to try something new every time.

Halal!! Nice taco place that serves halal meat; chips and salsa were ok; chicken chimichangas were also good… you can get in pulled or breast Fish tacos ok as well; Everything was just fine, so can’t really give it a 5 rating; Not much spice in food so u will have to add more

Second time getting the BBQ brisket tacos for take out. They were so good the first time I was looking forward to having them again! Consistently good both times and orders were completed accurately. Chips and salsa are also very good. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for tacos!
